Development of Scientific Institute Website

About project:

A scientific institute with multiple laboratories and long-term research projects had accumulated a large amount of information on its website. To present this information in a way that is clear and understandable for visitors, a page structure was developed using the card sorting method. Several content templates were created, allowing multi-level data presentation solutions to be built without the assistance of developers. These templates also make it possible to include articles that can be filtered according to specific attributes and other criteria.

Intranet:

As part of the project, an intranet was also developed. Similar to social networks, it allows users to react to posts, for example by marking that they like a post. Statistics on article views are collected, enabling administrators to monitor whether employees have read the published information. After an article has been read, it disappears from the news feed. Users in the intranet are automatically authenticated using their Active Directory user accounts. An employee directory was also created, allowing users to find staff members based on various attributes and view their contact information.
